my christmas card is for the street children who really need love this christmas day...I feel very pity to this children because its not easy if I am in there place. If possible I give what I have as long as I see in their eyes that they are sincere and they use the money in a useful way. How I wish I could give them something that would make them happy and contented this christmas day. They are the least, the lost and the last, yet they are visualizing the Messiah...as he knock on our hearts and say that I am here won't you help me.....Its a very sad Christmas for me especially to the rest of our family members because of my father's death but my number one inspiration is him....why??? beacause he is a type of person who really look at other's need. He is a very helpful person to the extent that he distributed his elegant polo shirts but I don't find it wrong and give it to his friends. A person of integrity and full service to people. I adore him because all he wants to do is to help...why can't I? This Christmas day I picture myself as a person of my father who is smiling and giving gifts to the poor children, in that way I feel that I fulfill the ambitions of my father to reach out the youth who are in need.......Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all.....

ADOBE photoshop is so exciting because you will be able to play with your pictures or images on it.. You can have fun editing some pictures and do it the best way you want..
However, abobe photoshop, or the way you edit the pictures is not that easy most especially if you are a beginner. Honestly speaking, I and my classmates had a hard time doing the task that Ms. K told us to do.

First when i was making my project my mother ask me why our family picture was placed on what im making because she didn't know what im making. When the print out of the card came out I let my mother see the print out. My mother was amazed because she know even I am exposed on computers but I dont know about the other softwares of it, the only thing that comes up into my mind when i hear the word "Computer" is only games. My mother appreciate what I did because she knows it took me lot of time to finish that card, because when I was about to make it I am still exploring the tools and its effect of it, even thou it was difficult it was fun and I can use it for my future career!! During christmas we were tasked by our teacher to give the christmas card we made using the adobe. I was not really that sure whether I would gave my card because Im not that type of person who wrotes letter for the persons I value and treasure most. I prefer to give them things rather than letter because Im not that good at words. But I was so thankful, that at last I gained courage to gave it to them.

Actually when they recieve the letter they were shocked because its the first time that I gave such thing. Its because they knew that I really dont like to give letters because I always said that its "corny". They were also laughing because they have seen their pictures at the card and they said that they were so ugly at the pictures and they look like wanteds...hehe...,And say words such as "ngeeeh"...But I've seen in their faces that they were really happy, so Im glad that I gave them the card.

They approach me and at last they said that they appreciate it...,Im really happy because of it...

The reaction of my mom was so funny because she kept on asking on how to make an adobe, I just replied, "ayaw na pangutana ma kay matula ra ka,kuti man gud kaau". But she did not stop on asking, so I was force to explain on how to do it. In the midst of my explanation, she said, "sakto na ging,kay bisan unsaon nimo og explain, dili gihapon ko kabalo, thanks sa effort ging, I appreciate it". My mom was happy as well because she did not expect that I would gave her a card with our picture. I was then happy because she really appreciate it...

Christmas is a time of giving gifts, a time of sharing what we have and of course expressing our genuine love to those important people whom we have cherished. Christmas just won't be Christmas with out a special greetings to those very significant person, our family, friends and love one's.

As my parents receive the card that I've made, I could see the happiness on their faces and I also fell the joy and gladness.
Although the card is simple yet it is meaningful and it comes from the heart, uncomplicated yet genuinely fitted. We gather together and indeed absolute completeness, delight and enlightenment sprinkle here and there as we celebrate Christmas.

I've realized the thought that I need to improve what I have done, I ought to make another card which is the best of all the best , more effort, courage , creativity and especially focus of mind.

Merry Christmas to all!!! in my experiencsed about Adobe, i encountered difficulties in innovating my christmas card. I stil must seek more about the types of tools in Adobe in order for me to make a good and presentable work.

Based on my experienced in Adobe photoshop, i had a hard time doing or making christmas cards because i still has to know what are the different functions of each tool in order for me to do the better as a future teacher someday. The youth of today is labeled as the Generation Ipod and we need colorful and creative materials to aid us in the educative process. And as future educators, we ought to have broader horizons about the types of instructional materials to suit our students. One colossal example of this is the Adobe Photoshop. This is the month of December and tis' the season to celebrate the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. I have learned that Christmas is not measured by the gifts we receive but it is in the showing and giving of love to our family and friends. Simplicity is Beauty, as they say, and it only takes our effort to give simple yet significant gifts to our loved ones. Being able to learn Adobe Photoshop is a great opportunity for me since it will help me in my future profession. I have to admit that it is not easy to use this software because you really have to sit down and give ample time for it. I had a fun time making my Christmas Card for my family because even if it is simple, it draws colossal meaning for my family and I. Given this opportunity to learn Adobe Photoshop makes me happy because I can use it in my day-to-day activities. It is said that we learn the most through visuals, so being able to learn how to use this software is of my advantage. I feel so blessed to have been given this opportunity to learn Adobe Photoshop. With the card I made, I believe I can make my family happy in the simplest ways I can.

As i make my Adobe activity, every minute of it was very time consuming. Being told about it was nerve cracking, I wasnt
prepared, and I'm not that expert in doing such activity. The time given was not enough since we were very busy preparing for
the upcoming Christmas party. I know that this reason is not reasonable, since as a teacher, we should be prepared in every
ticking of the clock. Money wise, it was indeed very expensive since we still have to print 2 pages of it. Despite the
problems I have encountered, I still managed to enjoy Adobe. I have learned new techniques in making such as cloning, etc. I
may not have put those techniques on my work, but surely I'll try those on the next activity I will be making. My work may
not be worth remembering but I believe in the saying that "Simplicity means Beauty" therefore, my work is still beautiful. ..

My experience in making ADOBE is that I have learned so many things in doing this....I have learned to put pictures on it. I have learned also to make backgrounds. I have learned to erased anything and everything on it and I have learned also to put text.....while I'm making ADOBE, I felt angry because from the start, I already knew that this is very hard but later on, I have discovered that ADOBE is very easy.......I have learned that in every step I take, there is always patience I will put on this. When I first knew Adobe, I said that this is the hardest subject that I encounter. It was really new to me and I cant help thinking about it. I wanna cry because I think that I could not do it, but as what they have said there are always solutions to our problems if we try our best. ....hello ms!wooohhh!!!after a week of exploring the adobe photoshop environment including its different toolbars and functions, i've come up a picture with my lolo and lola with all the unique changes including the background. Im so happy of the outcome of my work. Honestly, it's really a tough one making an adobe. My head was aching while doing this because a lot of mistakes ive made and I think I want to give up but because this is our project ive finish it with so much waste of time but its okey. When our energetic and beautiful teacher (Miss K.) told us to make a christmas card through adobe, at first my eyebrow met because I am not still good in making an adobe. The first time I practiced, I want to cry because I can't really get the exact design for my christmas card and on how to put my picture. For the second time around I get disappointed because again I failed and I think that i can't really do it, I get discouraged then I stop practicing first, but then on monday night I realized that if I would stop practicing how can I learned in making adobe, so on tuesday, time 1:00-5:00 pm I practiced and practiced and praticed and fortunately, I came up with a good design and I was able to put my picture in the christmas card that I made. In making an adobe, I also learned that I need to be more patient and use my vacant time in practicing instead of chatting. As of now, I feel so relieve because I've done my adobe successfully and I thanked GOD for guiding me in doing my christmas card! Adobe Experience is very much awful,it is very inspiring indeed ,especially when you create the knowledge itself,exploring adobe really needs an ample time, creativity, initiative and of course uniqueness. Patience on the other hand is also needed in the exploration in order to achieve the ultimate aim of making adobe itself. there are so many ways of creating adobe first is being attentive enough, second is to apply everything what you have understood and let it be the basis for one's creativity. Initiative of how to organized everything in a proper order especially the pictures being used. Uniqueness must also be determine, the text and the picture alone, whethere it fits together the colors, background, contrast and it's brightness.

To the fact that it is really tiresome but when you are able to make things happen, able to achieve everything, indeed it would be a great experience.

First when I hear that our next lesson is about adobe I get excited and ready to learn it. Even though I am expose to computers i dont know how to make a webpage or edit a picture using such software. As we tackle the history of adobe I am very eager to learn how to edit because the only thing that I know about computer is only the basic ones the Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and ect. Even i have a computer but games are mostly the software installed in my PC. As I am exploring the components and how to edit a photo on adobe, I find it difficult and time consuming. But I did my best for me to learn how to do it. My first try was a big waste of time but as I had discover it, the software is very useful for me as a future teacher, even when making powerpoint presentation that has images on it. Adobe? Sounds familiar. Well i guess it sounds familiar because it sounds like adobo, my favorite food. Starting adobe, i thought it is very easy but as we go through that activity i found it hard. I am preasured and irritated everytime i heard this word. Time came that i had to do my best in order to submit my adobe and so i ask help from my classmates to assist me in making adobe. Effective Teaching Strategies

The Western Center for Drug-Free Schools and Communities, Northwest Regional Educational Laboratory (1991) suggests that role playing, Socratic instruction, and small group work are effective teaching strategies for curriculum infusion.

"The Role Playing Process:

1.) Make sure the students define a situation that is relevant and important to them--for example, a situation in which they may be offered a drug. Get details such as the setting and number and types of people involved.

2.) Set the stage by arranging furniture, indicating where 'doors' might be located.

3.) Prepare the audience by giving them specific questions to be prepared to answer at the conclusion of the role play. Examples:
(a) Would this work in real life?
(b) How would you have handled the situation?

4.) There are numerous ways to select participants. Discuss ideas.

5.) Begin the role play, stopping it if it is unrealistic, going nowhere, or has accomplished its purpose.

6.) Ask questions of the participants and audience.

7.) Reenact the role play, if necessary, using a variation of the situation, new participants, feedback provided to improve a skill. . .

Suggested situations: refusing a drug offer, encouraging a friend to stop smoking, talking to a teacher about an assignment, requesting help from a parent, stopping a drunk friend from driving."

ASSURE OR ADDIE?

For me,the most effective way of teaching is ASSURE...the steps are more clear and easy to understand. In Assure you can analize your learners sothat we can know what they need to learn or were we need to start in our lesson,we also need to state our objectives in of our lesson for the students also to have a idea of what will be the lesson,in selecting media and materials,we should be able to consider our students if it will fit to them and if they can easily understand the materials used.And we should use let the students utilize or use thier learning or knowledge for them to be able to participate in the disscussion. If the students have learn something we should see if they really understand or they will not forget the learning by evaluating them and revising their knowledge by improving it.

I choose ASSURE because Learning is more effective when learner is involved inan active and intentional process, and it is also more appropriate as an instructional model to learning, and the students are more meaningful knowledge from old and new information and experience. I chose ASSURE because I think that this one is better than the other. For me, ASSURE is more appropriate as an instructional model to learning because it is more clear, it is more meaningful in the sense that it emphasizes on the procedure of the learning process and with this, the teacher will be able to relate to the students his/her objectives about that single topic or lesson and if ever there was something wrong about what she had done, she will be able to revise it and improve it so the students will understand better and that they can gain more knowledge from this revision or improvement.

H/she needs also the response of the learners if the learners learned from his teaching or the way he/she teaches.

ASSURE

I decided to choose ASSURE than the ADDIE because in this type of instructional model, you are going to assure the right information and ways to do in this instructional model. It helps us analyze the things that we do not know. It states us the correct objectives. It select media and materials. It enable us to utilize different ways to do in this instructional model. It require the learner's participation, We will be able to evaluate and revise information towards instruction.

I choose ASSURE because it helps the slow learner to cope up the discussion. This model assures the student to be a responsible one because it requires learners participation in class discussion. In this model, teachers analyze first the capacity of their students before they make lessons so that students which are slow learners can immediately understand the topic.

I choose ASSURE because these instuctional model is more effective for a teacher's guide. The steps of ASSURE are more yet better than the ADDIE because in ASSURE it is step by step process. Just like analyze then it follows by state, it's important to state first after the analyzing compared to ADDIE.

If I will be a future teacher someday, I would like to choose the instructional model which is the ASSURE. I prefer ASSURE because you can really see that it is a step by step process , very appropriate and can easily be understood. As a teacher, through this, teaching would be very effecient because you would know what you should do and because here you will also be an effective teacher because you will let your students participate in the discussions and including understanding each student. Lastly, through ASSURE you are willing to accept your faults in teaching and you are open for criticism, because if you are aware that your students doesnt learn from your discussion then you will revised it for the better, and its accordance to the students.

Base on my observation... I think the best instructional model is the A.S.S.U.R.E. because it has all the steps or process in making a learner effective. One thing I really like in ASSure is that it requires the learners to participate in every activity whether it is a group work or self activity. So through this, it can help the learner to develop his skills and capabilities it maybe his self confidence, creativity, thinking abililties and etc. In ASSURE, all the steps are very clear and specific so it is more understandable. not unlike the ADDIE model, the steps are not so clearly stated on what to do with the learners enable to be effective. But both of the instructional model has a good effect because the two have the process of analysis which can develop critical thinking to the learner and of course the most important is evaluation which is always place at the last process so that or to be able to know that the learners really understand the given lesson.

Instructional Model, it is a cue that would lead us, future teachers in bringing up interest to the students, that would merely benifit them. I opt to prefer ASSURE Instructional Model because in ASSURE you are mainly focusing on the child's capability, the learner's are given concentration that would enhance them to be more likely independent individual. Child-centered in the sense that the teacher's are indeed catering on the needs of the learner such as having motivation in a concise, specific, step by step process. ASSURE Instructional paradigm is a certain guide that would convey excellent experience with in the learner.

I prefer ASSURE to be my instructional model in my future teaching because for me this is the best way to be used to the kind of people I will be teaching someday. It may be hard for a teacher to really follow this but this will really help the teacher to check on his/her pupils if they really cooperate during the discussion and be able to get the main idea of the lesson. This is really the best instructional model to be used by everybody to make sure that there is really learning happened in the class.

As a teacher, i would prefer ASSURE type of teaching strategy because it is more effective in the way teachers giving knowledge to their students. In this type of strategy, you have to understand first what kind of students you are teaching with, then you must set goals in such a way that the goals must be achieve, as a teacher, you must be artistic enough to use the technology in the way you impart knowledge to your students. I chose this strategy because as a teacher, you must utilize how to use the instructional materials for the students learning to be efficient, in such a way that it can motivate students to participate in the discussion and to interact with you as a teacher. This strategy is so important compared to the other one because after evaluating you can revise it if ther is a mistake on your lesson plan.

Of the two instructional models which i have learned I prefered to use ASSURE. I chose it because it has a lot of advantages on the first place. First, it is a step by step process therfore it allows someone to fully understand the subject matter. It offers a better chance in the side of the teacher to be more creative and resourceful in hi s teachinfg career because he is much guided by this instructional model. Moreover, it can thoroughly develop and at the same time mold the teacher's mind and be open to wider range as of ho wto present his lesson. And the very important thing or reason is it will serve as a compass on the side of the teacher to reach the destination of rendering a clear and good presentation of the lesson to the students. It has a complete formula which the students need in order for their knowledge to be measured.

ASSURE, in this instructional material before you discuss the lesson you must first analze your learners, what are the learnings of the student. In making your lesson you must state the specific objectives of your lesson, in order the student can understand the lesson that you are discussing. After that you will now discuss your specific lesson and get the attention of your student. After the discussion you will see to it that your student really understand the lesson by giving them examination and by evaluating them.

I chose ASSURE because if we are going to compare it to the other one which is ADDIE, ASSURE is more specific and straight to thye point. As a future teacher, we should be specific specially in rendering the lessons, we should not bit around the bush to avoid confusions among the learners. In ASSURE, you are open to criticisms which is a very important aspect when you will be a teacher. Because for me, as a teacher I must know first the nature of my learners and their capacity to learn. It's the work of the teacher to create and to arouse the interest of the learner and in able for the students to be motivated and be guided throughout the lesson. The objectives of a particular lesson/topic is important so that teacher may know his/her target and for his/her to be guided also on what to teach. Materials and the use of media are important because they serve as instructional materials use and intended for the students. These materials must be suited in a particular lesson and these must be properly use. The teacher must be aware and be sensitive while having class discussion so that he/she would know if the students are still attach in the lesson and if they really participate actively. Because if not, again create their interest. After the discussion, it is very important to have evaluation. In evaluating the students, the teacher would know if the students really learn from the discussion. Activity is also part of evaluation and it must be fun yet made the students learn. Then, if the lesson means not really like by the students then revision takes place..That's all!.
